  1. To Jack

I was fortunate to know Jack for the past 24 years. Jack was humorous, insightful and kind. He was a true friend who would be right by your side to support you through life’s challenges.
    I’ll miss you.
    Beth Ely

  2. Jack has been a trusted friend and brother for well over 20 years. I’ll always remember his daily texts. Mostly though, I’ll cherish his friendship through the years. A couple of years ago I had a heart valve replacement. Jack sat with Beth and Leslie for 12 hours until he received the word I was OK. He was (and is) a special kind of person and we all know where we can find him now! Godspeed my friend!

One of the first people I met when I moved to Fort Myers was Jack. He was such a kind soul. We made a trip to the mountains in Virginia (Jack, Jenn and I) and I watched Jack fish with dog food and smoke a cigar. He was a happy man. I will surely miss him and his morning texts! Peace be with you all.

Dear Family of Jack – I am so very sorry for your loss. Jack was such a special person – giving freely to those in need and touching everyone who was fortunate enough to encounter him. This is a fragile time for you all. My prayer is that you can be gentle with yourselves and give your hearts time to grieve, to feel and to remember. May you allow yourselves to do what you need to honor this sorrow – letting your hearts and spirits heal. I will continue to keep you each, in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate this grief journey. In time may you find strength and hope in your memories – may they come to comfort you.

  5. We will surely miss your wonderful humor, your love for the Lord, and whenever you reached out to help others,, which was often. Bless you on your way, but I imagine you are already there.

    Your friend,
    Jim Woolm

  6. Jack was a friend for nearly 25 years. I shared golf, meals, lively sports talk, and some treasured time with like minded folks as, Jack was, about living a spiritual life. I will miss him and some of his wonderful sayings. In his honor, I say “Go Blue!”. Gods blessing and speed to all Jack’s family. Lynn Rowe
