Danny Edward Horne

March 29, 1957 - January 31, 2022

Danny Edward Horne of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully at Cape Coral Hospital on Monday, January 31, 2022 following some recent setbacks as a result of some chronic health challenges. He was 64 years old. Danny was born on March 29, 1957, the proud son to Gloria (Gilbert) and Kenneth Elmer Horne. He was a longtime employee with the City of Fort Myers Utilities Department and was a avid keeper of tropical fish. He leaves behind his mother Gloria Horne and brother Kenneth Elbert Horne and many extended family members. He will be warmly remembered and fondly missed by all he knew. A Funeral Service for Danny will be celebrated by Pastor David L. Goins at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests are welcome to gather for a half-hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 9:30 AM also inside the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of this service, family and friends will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Danny will be laid to rest.
