Duane Carl Kilkelly

Duane Carl Kilkelly, 76, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. He was born in Bethesda, Maryland into a military family ultimately becoming an Army veteran. After working 30 years at United Parcel Service, he was the first one of the few to join the “Circle of Honor” for his dedication to the company. He then went on to enjoy 25 years of retirement. Duane absolutely loved Nascar, competing against others in military video games, and was a movie buff with old westerns being his favorite. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Ermogene Kilkelly, and his brother Daniel Kilkelly. He is survived by his caring, loving, and supportive wife of 34 years, Glynice Kilkelly. Duane also leaves behind his brothers Thomas (LaDonna) Kilkelly of Plantation, FL, Timothy (Renee’) Kilkelly of Arcadia, FL; his sister Killeen Lear of Cape Coral, FL; Step children Mari-Lynn (Kerry) Stevenson of Kewanee, IL, Douglas Anderson, Jr of Galesburg, IL, and Kevin (Patti) Anderson of Fort Myers, FL. Duane was also blessed to enjoy numerous other extended family members. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and a private gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
