March 30, 1943 - March 9, 2022

Mrs Lucilia Marcelin, 78, a resident of Fort Myers, Fl since 2014, formerly of Haiti went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Lucilia entered the world March 30, 1943 to the delight of her parents Mr Cledanor Marcelin and Vierge Jean Charles. She was raised in Carrefour by her aunt Antoinette Berthaud. She was the beneficiary of the love and protection of her sister and best friend Anne Alabre. Her professional career would include seamstress and business. Mrs Lucid found the love of her life in her best friend Roland Rene who preceded her in death and their marriage on February 20th, 1976 would be blessed with 2 girls. Her life purpose was lived out through the selfless acts of kindness that came as a second nature to her. Mrs Lucilia leaves behind a lovely family which includes her daughter Modeline Rene Francillon, her son in law, Francois Francillon, her best friend and caretaker Margarette Damiscar. Her granddaughters Maliah and Adrielle Francillon. Her nephew and nieces Bernard, Tania, Johane, Bernadine. Her cousins Renee, Mimine, Gigi, Manouche, Polo, Toto, Jean Hogu. Today, we bid farewell to a faith hall of fame as we attempt to walk in the footprints left by her on this side of eternity. We rest assured that purpose has run its course and now lives through the scoreless lives touched by Go’s daughter and faithful servant, Lucilia Marcelin. A Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, March 18, 2022 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.The Funeral Service will be celebrated 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Agape Christian Fellowship. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in the Valparaiso Garden, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to agape Christian fellowship in the memo add”CELEBRATION “in loving memory of Lucilia Marcelin.
