Melissa Ann Miller

July 21, 1966 - March 26, 2021

Melissa Ann Miller, better known simply as "Missy" to her family and friends, of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, March 26, 2021. She was 54 years old. Missy was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and nana. Born in Belleville, Illinois to Donald and Shirley Muckensturm on July 21st 1966. Missy is proceeded in death by her father, mother, brother Fred and grandson Nathan. Missy is survived by her siblings: Linda, Kevin, Dennis (Maria,) Debbie, Jimmy (Illene,) and Sandy. Her children Sheila, (Alex) and Zach, (Caitlin). Her grandchildren Marissa, Maverick and Cade. Also several nieces and nephews. Missy loved her animals, the beach and to dance as a young girl. She always had a smile and family was most important. She was always a hard worker and a very independent lady. She loved with her whole heart. A Memorial Service for Missy will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Cremation Garden located inside the Sylvan Oaks Section of Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Celebration of Life will follow the service. All are welcome to attend and remember Missy and her life, very well-lived. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to offset the cost of Missy's funeral expenses will be gratefully be accepted by her children Sheila Griffith and Zachary Miller.
