Pablo Guzman, 63, a resident of Lehigh Acres, FL since 2015, passed away under the care of Hope Hospice on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. He was born on August 10, 1958, in Bronx, NY and later relocated to Elizabeth, NJ where he married his wife, Dianne Guzman, in 1985. He then later became a father to his only son, Jonathan Guzman, in 1986. Pablo was a proud veteran of the United States Army National Guard, a retired EMT with the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) and was one of the courageous first responder heroes during 9/11. Paul, as most people knew him as, was dedicated to loving others and modeling the love of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a faithful member of Mission John 3:16 in Bronx, NY, Fountain of Salvation Church in Elizabeth, NJ and last First Assemblies of God in Fort Myers, FL. He was an excellent trumpet player and used is love of music for God’s glory. He was also a dedicated leader and mentor in the Royal Rangers ministry. He was preceded in death by his father, Americo Guzman, and his brothers Americo Guzman Jr. & Ausberto Guzman. Pablo is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Dianne Guzman of Lehigh Acres, FL; his only son, Jonathan Guzman of Lehigh Acres, FL; His beloved mother, Mary Guzman; his ten brothers and sisters, Carlos Guzman (Natividad) of Coral Springs, FL, Magaly Mojica (Oscar) of Fort Myers, FL, Raquel Hughes (Douglas) of Fort Myers, FL, Daniel Guzman (Thomas Hudgins) of Ashburn, VA, Maria Guzman-Martinez of Puerto Rico, Norka Gonzalez of Long Island City, NY, Norma Guzman- Caraballo of Puerto Rico, Jenny Guzman of Puerto Rico, Joel Guzman of Puerto Rico and Elisa Munoz of Hoboken, NJ; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. If you would like and are able to pay your respects in person a viewing will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. Then, a Homegoing Service will be observed at 2:00 PM to celebrate Paul’s wonderful life. And last, the Interment, with full Military Honors presented by the United Stated Army, will follow at The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
