John was a wonderful and loving husband and father - it was so very easy to see while having Christmas dinner each year when my husband and I were in town. Our brother-in-law is Judge John's brother-in-law as well. That is the great connection we are privileged to have.
John and Denise and John Scott and Tyler have a tremendous way of always making us feel welcome and having such happy times and fun together! It was always the highlight of our holiday season. My sweet memory of John was him asking me what dessert I brought and one time he told me "don't make the chocolate lava cakes next year - you already did that - you got to top that next year" - so cute and fun! I tried my hardest to come up with something unique and Judge John approved. He told us that we must ALWAYS be there for Christmas dinner when in town. That really touched us.
Christmas dinner will never be the same again without you, dear John!
We love you and love Denise and your sons! What a great family.
Sorry you won't be here if we move down and won't be able to go house hunting with us as you wanted to do.
