A. Nadine Mudge's Obituary
Mrs. A. Nadine Mudge, 91, of LaBelle, Florida, passed away on June 23, 2021, surrounded by her family. The daughter of Leslie and Julia “Etta” (Adams) Glazier of Hulbert, Michigan, Nadine was born in Vanderbilt, Michigan, on September 10, 1929. A graduate of Hulbert High School, she worked at the Sno Shu Inn and the Hulbert Tahquamenon Hotel. On March 7, 1948, Nadine married the love of her life, Charles (Chuck) Mudge after he returned from serving his country.
She is survived by five children Timothy (Patty) of Labelle, Florida; Sprague (Esther) of Paradise, Michigan; Gayle (Fred) Russell of Bokeelia, Florida; Charles Jr. (Linda) of Alva, Florida; and Jacob (Tammy) of North Fort Myers, Florida. Nadine also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters, Rosetta Maleport and Alfreda Gerrish, both of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Glazier of Lake Placid, Florida, and many nieces and nephews. Nadine was preceded in death by Baby Girl Mudge, her husband Chuck, her brother Gerald Glazier, and her parents.
A funeral service for Nadine will be celebrated by Pastor Angel Ramos at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests will be received for an hour and one-half preeding this ceremony beginning at 1:30 pm. At the conclusion of these services, guests will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Nadine will be laid to rest in the West section of the Veterans Garden alongside her beloved husband Charles.
