Ada O. Sheets' Obituary
Ada O. Sheets, 90, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Signature Healthcare in Fort Myers, Florida. Mrs. Sheets was born in Evarts, Kentucky on December 27, 1922, a daughter of the late John Kelly and Bessie Houston Kelly. Ada was the widow of the late George Sheets who passed away in December of 1990. Also preceding Ada in death besides her parents was a grandchild Shannon and her siblings, Deava, Murphy, Rayburn, Fontella, Warren and Vernon. Mrs. Sheets was an avid musician with her favorite instrument being the trumpet. She was a founding member of the Bonita Springs Chorus and member of the Estero Methodist Church and the church choir Ada also enjoyed bowling. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Andrea Storrie of Fort Myers, Florida and her step-son, Gary Sheets of Texas; her grandchildren, Meghan, Lindsay, Angie, Sheri and Stephanie and several great grandchildren; her sister, Alma Jean Bohme. A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. At 7:30 PM a Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Golisano Children?ÇÖs Hospital at HealthPark Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida 33908 or the Animal Refuge Center in North Fort Myers, Florida.
