Adam L. Matson, 36, a lifelong Fort Myers, FL resident passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born January 4, 1985 in Fort Myers, FL.
Adam was a fun loving guy who loved the outdoors, specifically fishing and hunting. He enjoyed many things but most of all was his time spent with his family. Adam was taken to soon from this life, but touched so many people and will never be forgotten.
Adam is survived by his loving Fiancé, Joanne Glenn of Lehigh Acres, FL; three children, Khloe Matson, Aubree Matson and Aiden Glenn all of Lehigh Acres, FL; three step-children, Brittany Glenn, Courtney Glenn and William Pennebaker; his father and step-mother, Steve and Tina Matson of North Fort Myers, FL; his mother and step-father, Kathryn and Alan Ammons of Missouri; two brothers,, Steve Matson (Melissa) and Bryan Ammons (Marcie); two sisters, Melissa Sue Sheppard (Carlos) and Amber Ammons - Dailings (Rocky); two grandchildren, Josiah and Briella; six nephews, three nieces and one great nephew; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. A Funeral Service will be celebrated 1:00 PM, Friday, October 1, 2021 in the Chapel of Light at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
