I worked many years with Adelaide at the School District. She was highly respected and a vsluable asset to the leadership of the Lee County School District. Later I had the pleasure to get to know her and her family when I became a member of the Southwest Florida Horseman's Association. I enjoyed attending many happy hours with Adelaide and her many close friends. I last had the pleasure to visit with Adelaide when her daughted brought her to Fort Myers several years ago. She indeed had an amazing eventful life.
I worked for the School District of Lee County while Adelaide was there. She was a very nice lady. It amazed me how fast she could type. It was fun listening to her talk about her travels & her daughter. I enjoyed reading the obituary, to learn all she had done. What an amazing life.Elaine C Gridley
