Adolfo Jose Figueroa's Obituary
Adolfo Jose Figueroa, Jr., 68, passed away August 8, 2013. He was born March 13, 1945 in Cuba to the late Adolfo, Sr., and Francisca (Bethencourt) Figueroa. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Adolfo Figueroa III, uncles, Ruben Figueroa and Jose Miguel Bethencourt.Adolfo came to Lee County in 1996 from Las Vegas, Nevada. He loved his religion, travel and spending time with his grandaughter and friends.Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Aura; sons, Noel Figueroa of Fort Myers, Florida and Renee Alberto Figueroa of Corona, New York; sisters, Pilar Esteves of Georgia and Hortencia Figueroa of Miami, Florida and grandchildren Mariah Figueroa.There will be a visitation on Monday, August 12th from 9:00am to 8:00pm and Tuesday, August 13th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida 33907. Funeral service will begin Tuesday at noon followed by entombment in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
