Albert Edward Amend's Obituary
Father Albert Amend, retired Episcopal Priest and member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, died on Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was a dedicated teacher and priest. He served the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Father Amend is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia; his son, Edward, his daughter, Aileen and her husband Robert II; four grandchildren: Robert III, Joseph, Hallie and Olivia; his brother, Charles and his sister, Beatrice. Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM Friday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 8210 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers. Friends will be received from 11:30 until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date in Sarasota National Cemetery.
