When Albie's sister and my Uncle were married Albie took me in as his kid brother. It was great being with Albie, he was older than me but treated me as his equal. His friends were bullies towards us younger kids but Albie put things straight with his friends regarding me, hands off! They obeyed. He had the neatest toys also, especially his go cart. When I heard it running from my house I ran to maybe get a ride. When he saw me he pushed his older friends off the go cart and let me drive it all by myself! How cool! I lost touch with him after he returned from Vietnam and haven't seen him since. I will miss Albie very much and will never forget him. May he rest in peace with his family. God bless him.
