Albert Preston Crouch's Obituary
Albert Preston Crouch, born on October 3, 1933, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late George and Hattie (Lindgren) Crouch, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, in Cape Coral, Florida.
Albert had a passion for life that was evident in his many interests and activities. He lived a life marked by excellence , integrity, perseverance and great love for his wife and family. Known as the “Mayor” of his street, always available to help others and keep an eye on the neighborhood . He enjoyed boating, flying, golf, ballroom dancing, NASCAR, and vacationing. He wanted to keep his mind sharp by keeping up with new technologies. Above all, he was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1957. After his service, he married the love of his life, Peggy. They were happily devoted to each other for 66 and half years. Together, they built a beautiful life and founded the Crouch Oil Company.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hattie, and his beloved wife, Peggy.
He is survived by his daughters, Tracey (Tim) Hendren and Karen (Joe) Jablonski; grandchildren, Kimberly (Phil) Murphey, Matthew (Charity) Hendren, Brandon (Trista) Jablonski, and Raeann (Robert) Scarpantonio; and great-grandchildren, Dylan Murphey, Kaylee Murphey, Lukus Hendren, Faith Hendren, Rowan Jablonski, Broxton Jablonski, Mason Scarpantonio, and Brantley Scarpantonio.
Albert will be remembered for his zest for life, his entrepreneurial spirit, and the love and joy he brought to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
