Albert Demarco's Obituary
Albert Demarco, Jr., 81, of Cape Coral, FL, died July 10, 2015 at Hospice House of Cape Coral. Funeral service will be 6:30 PM, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Fort Myers memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. Visitation will be from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Family will also meet with friends following the service till 8:30 PM. Cremation rites will follow. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials: Cape Christian Fellowship Church Albert was born December 23, 1933 in Mineola, NY, the son of, Albert and Mae (Hoffman) Demarco, Sr. He married Barbara Meyers, October 31, 1954 in Long Island, NY. Mr. Demarco served in the US Navy. As a civilian he served as a police detective for Suffock County, Long Island, NY. He was a member of Cape Christian Fellowship Church. Albert leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Barbara; children, John Demarco and his wife Nancy of S. Setauket, NY, William Demarco of Cape Coral, FL, Ronald Demarco and his wife Linda of Fort Myers, FL, Lisa Kopp and her husband Roy of Cape Coral, FL; eight grandchildren, Sean, Ryan, Elizabeth, Nicole, Chelsea, Brandon, Alex and Eric. Mr. Demarco was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters and one brother. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Albert.
