Alfred Monack's Obituary
Mr. Alfred Monack, 80, of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 01, 2017 in Consulate Health Care of North Fort Myers. He was born March 27, 1936 in St. Paul, Minnesota to the late Alfred and Marjorie Monack. He worked as an installer with Culligan Water Systems and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Al was a long time resident of St. Paul Minnesota and has been a resident of the Southwest Florida community since 2000. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 50 yrs Georgena, his sister Judy and his niece, Shannon. Al is survived by his three children; Tony Monack, Tom Monack (Fiance Christy Risberg) and Tracy Monack; his siblings, Don Monack and wife (Gay), Denny Monack (Barb), Diane (Jerry) Gervais, and Linda Monack,. Al is also survived by his grandchildren Josh, Brad and wife (Julie), Taylor and Ashley and his great grandchildren McKenna and Lyncoln and many nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for Al will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 1pm at Tara Woods Club House 19376 US-41, North Fort Myers, FL 33917. There will be an additional service celebrated in Minnesota at a later date. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is serving the family.
