Alice Joan Carsrud's Obituary
Alice Joan Carsrud, 83, passed away August 12, 2013. She was born October 11, 1929 in Roland, Iowa to the late Edward and Georgia (Olson) Nerem. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ed Jr. and David Nerem.Alice came to Lee County in 1989 from Carbondale, Illinois and was a member at Peace Lutheran Church on McGregor Blvd. She was a member of the Garden Club and Bridge Club and enjoyed golf.Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Donn; children, Janita Gaylord and her husband David of Graham, Washington; Lenn Carsrud and his wife Carolyn of Murphysboro, Illinois and Dawn Johnson and her husband Todd of Lake Ozark, Missouri; brothers, Gary Nerem of Roland, Iowa and Dale Nerem of Boone, Iowa; grandchildren, Corey, Shane, Amanda, Kari and Jann; great-grandchildren, Jaidon, Lillian, Mitchell, Jaxon, Steven, Shawn and Paisley.Memories and condolences may be left at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
