Alice "Marie" Robinson's Obituary
Alice “Marie” Robinson, 69, of North Fort Myers, FL, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at Cape Coral Hospital. She was born January 16, 1946 in Wichita, KS to the late Harold A. Burtnett and Ruth F. (Mayfield) Burtnett. Marie grew up volunteering for the Salvation Army and worked many years as a self-employed Antiques Dealer. On May 1, 1966, in Tacoma, WA, Marie married her loving husband, Donald Robinson, Sr. In addition to her husband, Marie leaves behind to cherish her memory, two children, Ann Marie Liles of Oldsmar, FL and Donald Robinson, Jr. and his wife, Shirley of Cape Coral; her brothers and sisters, Ruth, Harold, Carol Ann, Barbara and Robert. She also leaves behind her three loving grandchildren, Donald Norwood Liles, Morgan Lynn Robinson and Austin James Robinson. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL; Pastor Randall Robinson, officiating. Her urn will be placed in the Cremation Garden of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association 28441 Bonita Crossings Boulevard, Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
