Alice Ray Traina's Obituary
Alice Ray Traina of San Antonio, Texas and formerly of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 with her loving family by her side following some recent health challenges. She was 96 years old.Alice was born in Bergenfield, New Jersey on July 28, 1921, the beautiful daughter to Inge (Brams) and Christian Paul Mogensen. She was dedicated to family throughout her life and was a dedicated daughter, wonderful wife, magnificent mother and a great grandmother. The indelible legacy she left behind was her family.Left to cherish her loving memory are her sons Douglas Traina of Naples, Florida and Dennis Traina of Babylon, New York; her daughter Jill Mangione of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a number of extended family members and a multitude of others who were proud to call her a friend. She will be missed but remembered fondly and often.A Memorial Service for Alice will be celebrated by Deacon Anthony F. DiLorenzo at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 27, 2017 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be received for Visitation for an hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 2:00 PM also inside the funeral home chapel.
