Andres Ramos Rivera's Obituary
Andres Ramos Rivera passed away peacefully with his loving family nearby on Saturday, November 7, 2020 following some recent health challenges. He was 85 years old.
Andres was born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico on December 1, 1934, the proud son to mother Dionisra Rivera and father Inocencio Ramos. He was a 20-year member of the U.S. Army and later the Army National Guard of Puerto Rico before retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He was the proud father to sons Marco A Ramos Sr., Andres Ramos Picart, Jesus Ramos and Jose L . Ramos and was the loving father to daughters Aixa Ramos and Andrea Garnello. Andres was also a proud grandfather and a beloved member of a large extended family. He will be fondly missed and always warmly remembered.
A Visitation for Andres will take place from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM and will also be celebrated in the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of these ceremonies, friends and family will adjourn to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Honor Guard for the United States Army will offer military honors in appreciation for his years of service in defense of our nation. Andres will thereafter be laid to rest at the Mausoleum located inside the Field of Honor.
