Andrew P. Misejka's Obituary
Andrew P. Misejka of Fort Myers, FL, (formerly of Toledo, OH) passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at Joanne’s House Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL. He was 91. Andy was born and raised in Rossford, OH to the late Andy Misejka and Anna Bukovan Misejka. He attended Waite High School, and he proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He worked at LOF and Champion Spark Plug, and upon retiring moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 1991. Andy was an avid reader and loved keeping up on current events. Andy is preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn, whom he was married to for 49 years; his parents, grandson, Eric Misejka, and sisters, Margaret Prange, Anna Mochon, and Leona Hahn. He will be dearly missed by his son Mark (Susan) Misejka of Whitehouse, OH, daughter Andrea (Robert) McClintic of Fort Myers, FL, grandchildren, Kirsten (Chris) D’Angelo, Jon Nissen, Jr., Lindsey (Don) Miller, Ashley (Eric) VanBuskirk, and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Roush of Perrysburg, OH and Barbara Lewandowski of Toledo, OH. In accordance with his wishes, services will be private at a later date.
