Andrew was one of the most genuine people you’d ever meet. He rarely showed his emotions but you always knew where you stood with him. He had incredible character and was always true to his word. Andrew could be leaned on when times got tough and cared more about his family and friends well being than his own. Although he could seem quiet and reserved to strangers, once you got to know him, Drew was a very kind and loving person who genuinely cared about those who were close to him. He was extremely protective of his family and there is nothing in the world that he wouldn’t have done for them.
Early in life, family and friends knew Drew as a “big dog”; he was always extraordinarily strong and tough for his age. That became even more apparent when he started playing sports, especially baseball. He was an amazing baseball player with so much God given talent and ability. His ability to hit homeruns became a staple of his career. Teammates, coaches, and parents always stopped to watch when Drew came to bat. The memories that Drew was able to make for his family and friends through baseball are irreplaceable and won’t soon be forgotten.
As time went on, Drew took to new hobbies such as boating, fishing, hunting, and working on his truck. Drew also had a soft side for animals and would always enjoy spending time around them. Drew was always ready to lend a helping hand when it came to construction projects or work around the house. He was a hard worker and knew how to get the job done.
Andrew was truly one of the most unique and kind individuals you’d ever meet. His smile, laughter, and sense of humor was a joy to be around and if you were lucky enough to be a part of his life, you understand that his presence will be truly missed. The hole he is going to leave in his family and friends lives will stay with them forever.
