Angel Manuel Torrens' Obituary
Angel Manuel Torrens, 93, a resident of Lehigh Acres, FL since 1990, formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 9, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 10, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Jose and Nacdes Torrens.
Angel was a proud United States Navy Veteran and parishioner of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Lehigh Acres, FL. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Torrens and his brother, Raymond Daniel Torrens.
Angel is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lydia Torrens of Lehigh Acres, FL; one daughter, Elizabeth Steacker (Richard) of Brandon, FL; one granddaughter, Leeza Regina Steacker of Brandon, FL; 10 brothers and sisters, Mary Melendez, Carlos Torrens, Jose Torrens, Robert Torrens, Edith Diaz, Josephine Santiago, Grace Torrens, James Torrens, Michael Torrens and Henry Torrens.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 AM, Monday, March 29, 2021 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2514 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, FL. Inurnment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in the Field of Honor Section where the United States Navy will present Military Honors.
