??peaceful prayers.
Offering my deepest condolences to the LaPorte family. May the God of peace and the love of family and friends sustain you at this most difficult time. May it comfort your hearts to know Angela is in God’s memory and will keep the promise he gives at Job 14:14,15.
I was shocked to read in the Journal Tribune of Angela’s passing. Angela was a wonderful friend. I am going to miss her cards. May Angela rest in peace.
I’m so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as the comfort found in God’s word the bible. In the face of such tragedy, many wonder why God allows such suffering. In the bible, Romans 5:12 says, “That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.” How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
My heart hurts today. What a shock. After many years we were finally going to reunite at a long anticipated class reunion next summer and I was so looking forward to seeing her. We grew up in the same neighborhood and even shared the same first name. As kids we always called each other “The other one” and, when we contact each other, we sign off, ‘the other one’, oh, how I’ll miss that. Angela was the kindest person growing up. She was always so sweet and willing to do anything for anyone. I can’t believe we won’t see her again. But, she’s with her beloved Phil, and that gives us all comfort. Rest in peace, my dear old friend, I shall miss our contact, and sharing old memories. You were the best! The Other One
To the family of Ms. LaPorte, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray your family find comfort from God’s word the bible. (John 5:28-29)
What an amazing role model Angela was! She inspired so many students and teachers with her kindness and grace! I am a better teacher for having known and worked with her at Saint James School in Biddeford, ME. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family at this most difficult time. Estelle B.
An amazing lady – I am still in shock. She was special and always got a “lift” whenever I would see her!
Thank you for teaching my daughter. She loved you. Thank you for reminding me of how creative she is every time I saw you. Teachers have a gift for pointing things out in children that children do not always see themselves. You always asked about her, and she always asked about you when she knew I was going to see you. Your gentleness was a gift to all of the children you taught. You will be missed. You will always be loved by us.
I had Mrs. LaPorte for 6th grade at St. Joseph’s. She was one of my favorite teachers of all time. She was so kind. I’m so sorry for your loss. I know that she will be missed by so many. Karla Green
