Ann (Jean) Bynes-Porpora's Obituary
Ann (Jean) Bynes-Porpora, 78, of Fort Myers, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 following a brief illness. She was born October 3, 1936 in Chicago, IL and moved to Fort Myers in 1985. She attended Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord. She was a very talented local artist and affiliated with the Alliance of the Arts and the Bonita Art League for many years. She and her daughter, Susan, owned and operated The Nest Home and Garden from 2011 until the present. Mrs. Bynes-Porpora leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Susan Johnson and husband, Steve, Mike Bynes and wife, Connie and Laura Richards and husband, Matt, all of Fort Myers; her grandchildren: Erin, Lauren, Katy, Jenny, Danny, Chris, Chloe, Tyler and Savannah and her two great grandchildren: Declan and Landon. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Bynes in 1986 and her second husband, Mike Porpora in 2011. Funeral services and interment will take place at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral and Cremation Service in Schaumburg, IL at a later date.
