Anna “Babs” Bretschneider, 91, of Fort Myers, passed away peacefully July 6th 2018 in Nyack, NY. She was born in Brits, South Africa to Jacobus and Wilhelmina Krüger.She met and married Bertram “Buddy” Bretschneider, USN, during WWII in Capetown. She immigrated to the United States when the war ended and they made their home in Nyack, NY. Bud and Babs moved to Fort Myers in the mid-1970’s.She is survived by a son, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to www.gulfcoasthumanesociety.org
