Anne R. Minko (nee Dobosz) of Orchard Park, New York and formerly of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully on January 12, 2015, She was 98 years old.Mrs. Minko was beloved wife of the late Frank P. Minko; devoted mother of Judith A. (Michael) Rodgers, Adrienne C. (Ralph) Schaefer, Damian F. and Kevin A. (late Tammy) Minko; dear sister of the late Walter (Thelma) and Ed-ward (Helen) Dobosz; also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grand-children.Mrs. Minko was one of the early pioneers who moved from Buffalo, New York to Cape Coral with her family in 1961. She and her husband Frank owned the Cape Bakery. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and VFW Post No. 10097. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Orchard Park, New York on Thursday, January 15, 2015.A visitation will be conducted from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2015 in the chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Graveside Service will be celebrated at the Patio of Peace section of adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery the following Monday, January 19, 2015 at 10:30 AM. At the conclusion of this service, Anne will be entombed in her final resting place alongside her husband.Flowers gratefully declined.
