Anne Marie Nicolosi's Obituary
Momđź’ś
Anne Marie Nicolosi, 92, of Fort Myers, was peacefully called home to be with our Lord and Savior on January 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved daughter of John and Anna Renzulli, she was the youngest of four children and their only daughter. Born in West New York, New Jersey, and raised in New York City, Anne enjoyed a career in banking until she married her lifelong love, Anthony.
Following marriage, Anne devoted herself to creating a warm and loving home for Anthony and their six children. As matriarch of the family and a faithful and trusting woman of God, Anne led with great wisdom, nurturing with faith and heart. She loved deeply, listened attentively, and unconditionally supported her children while fostering family love and preserving unity and tradition.
Anne was most loved and adored by her children, extended family, and friends. She was known for her quick wit and spirited, engaging conversations. As described by those who loved her, she was a best friend—loving, fair, honest, fun, and a force rooted in devotion. Most of all, she spread love, compassion, kindness, laughter, peace, and joy to all who were blessed to know her.
Anne started each morning in prayer. She was an avid reader and a master at solving the daily newspaper Jumble. Above all, she loved bringing family and friends together—whether it was gathering around the family table for Nanny’s “famous” meatballs and sauce; or traveling with Anthony, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to create cherished lifelong memories. She was given the precious gift of a life well lived and is now safely in the Father’s House.
Anne is survived by her six children: Nina Stella, Carl (Debbi) Nicolosi, Jane (Pam) Nicolosi, Lisa (Brian) Carroll, Jodi (Cecil) Pendergrass, John (Kelly) Nicolosi; ten loving grandchildren: Laura, Christina, Brandan, Cynthia, Andrea, Anthony, Carly, Julia, Kaitlyn and Jack; and two great grandchildren: Oskar Joseph and Baby Girl Scarlett Rae.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. at Saint John XXIII Catholic Church Parish Life Center 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers, with eulogy and funeral mass to follow at 11:50 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Anne’s honor be made to St. John XXIII Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.
