Anthony X. Casciotta's Obituary
Anthony X. Casciotta, 81, of Cape Coral, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014. He was born July 22, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Cape Coral from Long Island, NY in 1989. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He coached Little League, football and baseball and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Casciotta leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 56 years, Mary Casciotta; his two sons, Paul Casciotta and wife, Ellen of East Hampton, NY and Peter Casciotta of Cape Coral; his siblings, Grace Hagerman of New Jersey, Mary Moskos of Indiantown, FL and Marie Judge of Largo and his grandchildren: Mario and Peter. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military rites conducted by the U.S. Navy. Friends will be received from noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at: www.kidney.org.
