Antoinette Marie Kissel's Obituary
Antoinette (Toni) Kissel, age 102, of Lake Placid and a longtime former resident of Seven Lakes in Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 24, 2022. She was born May 3, 1919 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Al and Helen Spitzig. She was the devoted wife of the late Carl Kissel and the loving mother of Patte Walters, Paul (Kim) Kissel of Sarasota, Florida and the late Carol Kissel Cook; grandmother of Justin and Ivana Kissel of Sarasota, Florida and Jackie Cook of Arlington, Texas; sister of the late Norman (Alice) Spitzig. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and stepgranddaughters. She moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 1967 where she taught at Saint Francis Xavier School.
A Visitation for Antoinette is scheduled for 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 3, 2022 and will be take place inside the Chapel at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 8121 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33919, (239) 481-7171. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately thereafter at 11:30 AM also inside the Chapel. At the conclusion of the Funeral Mass, family and friends will travel to Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, 12777 State Route 82, Fort Myers, Florida 33913, (239) 443-4880 where Antoinette will be laid to rest alongside her dearly departed husband Carl.
