Apolinar "Polo" Garcia III's Obituary
Apolinar “Polo” Garcia III, 52, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025. Polo had been living in Cape Coral for the past eight months, though he was originally from Freehold, NJ. He was born on July 22, 1972, to Apolinar and Lydia Garcia in Newark, NJ.
Polo is leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. With his tremendous heart, quick wit, charming smile, and infectious sense of humor he had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. He had a natural talent for making people laugh. Throughout his life, he used his humor and charm to bring joy to those around him whether it was during the daily mundane tasks of life or his countless adventures with family and friends. There was never a dull moment. He is loved by many and will be missed by all.
Polo was preceded in death by his father, Apolinar Garcia II.
He is survived by his loving mother, Lydia Garcia; his sister and brother-in-law Amparo & Robert Casiano his three children, Apolinar Garcia IV (PJ), Antonio Garcia and Lilly Garcia, nephew Roberto Casiano, and nieces Jasmine & Christina Casiano, who he cherished deeply.
Polo’s family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with his final arrangements. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by his funeral service at 12:00 PM.
