Aristeo Alejos' Obituary
Aristeo Alejos, of Alva, Florida and previously from Massillon, Ohio . Passed away with his loving family by his side on August 22nd 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Norberto and Maria Alberta Alejos on October 12, 1945 in Lasara, Texas and resided in Indio, California. Aristeo leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Thelma Alejos of Alva, Florida, his children Aristeo Alejos, Jr., Gina Alejos Quiroz, Michael Alejos, Randy Baim, Raelene Totterdale, Melinda Myers and Timothy Baim. Aristeo is also survived by his Mother, Maria Alberta Alejos of Mecca, CA, his siblings, Sabino Alejos, Ruth Barre, Norberto Alejos, Jr., Rene Alejos, Juanita Hurtado and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much. His 28 grandchildren adored him as did he them. Aristeo was preceded in death by his Father, Norberto Alejos, Sr. and his brother Ramiro Alejos. Aristeo was a proud American serving as a Marine with three medals for?áhonor for his service in Vietnam. He was involved in Project Hope, traveling to El Salvador when needed. He worked for 16 years as a bar finisher in a steel plant until retiring to FL. Viewing Sat., Aug. 28th from 12-2 followed by the service at 2:00 PM at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Ft. Myers.
