Arline Evelyn Farrell's Obituary
Arline Evelyn Farrell, 91 of Fort Myers went to be with her loving husband, Scotty in heaven on Monday, September 9, 2013. She was born in St. Louis, MO to William and Martha Fletcher and is survived by her six children – Diane Tomlin, Barbara Halter, Charles Farrell, Pat Lawhon, Clint Farrell and Steve Farrell; sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was a loving wife (of 62 years) and mother (she treated us all as her favorite!) and grandmother that will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her. Arline was a long-time member and active servant of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. She retired from the banking industry where she worked in installment loans for many years. She loved baseball (St. Louis Cardinals – member of the “Knothole Gang”), hockey (NY Rangers) and enjoyed music and dancing. Arline will be forever remembered as a kind and loving person, big “hugs” to all who entered her house and a faithful servant of the Lord. God could not have blessed us with a better mother!! A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 12th at 10am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Sunrise Dr. in Fort Myers. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
