Armando Horta's Obituary
Armando Horta of Lehigh Acres, Florida, better known as Captain Armando by his friends and family, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Friday, November 12, 2021 while under Hospice care folloing some recent health challenges. he was 55 years old.
Armando was born June 28, 1966 in Coral Gables, Florida, the proud son to Amanda (Placeres) and Roberto Horta. He worked for many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the field of construction, but his real passion was piloting his Airboat. Armando was a captain among captains in the Everglades and he was always ready to find his next adventure or to help you discover yours on the Airboat.
Immediate funeral services are private. THe family is planning a Celebration of Life to be conducted in the near future. Please check with a family member for more information concerning this ceremony or here for further details which will be posted as soon as they are available.
