Arnold Lee Obstein's Obituary
Arnold "Arnie" Lee Obstein, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 25, 2026.
A man known for his immense warmth, unmatched sense of humor, and loyalty, Arnie served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his quick wit, and his remarkable gift for making people laugh. He brought joy to everyone around him and formed countless lasting friendships throughout his life. Above all, his greatest joy was his family, and he took enormous pride in his sons and the lives they built.
He was the loving father of David (Jessica) Obstein, and Carter Obstein; the proud and devoted grandfather of Teagan Obstein, Waylan Adkins, and Gage Thomas; and the cherished brother of Terri (Susan) Goldberg and Sanford "Sandy" Mahr.
His legacy of love, laughter, service, and devotion will continue to live on through his family and all whose lives he touched.
A Burial Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, July 28, at 9:00 a.m. at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, located at 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation in Arnold’s honor.
