Arnold Francis Rezendes' Obituary
Arnold Francis Rezendes, 75, of Fort Myers, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was born August 12, 1945 in Taunton, MA to Francis B. Rezendes and Evelyn B. Rezendes.
Arnie enjoyed boating, car racing, RC sailing, and his family. He was a member of two radio controlled sailboat clubs in Ft Myers and also the Corvette Club of Naples. While in Massachusetts, he was an entrepreneurial business man, owning several businesses and joint ventures. He loved spending time on the water in Cape Cod, whether boating, shell fishing or just relaxing in a chair on Sampson’s island with a book. Arnie finally forfeited his short Cape Cod summers for the long one by retiring to Florida in 2010. While here he enjoyed having a green thumb and filled his yard with plants, flowers and trees. He served on the board of his community while here and would always be there to lend a helping hand to someone who needed something fixed or assembled. He was a true handyman and could fix or build nearly anything. He will be sorely missed by friends and family.
Mr. Rezendes is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Janice Rezendes; his son, Christopher Rezendes; his grandchildren: Nicholas, Jessica, Matthew and Jonathan Rezendes and Gianna Anderson and his great granddaughters, Cecilia, Eliana and Isabelle.
