Arthur Joseph "Artie" Voelker's Obituary
Arthur Joseph “Artie” Voelker, 69, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in HealthPark Medical Center surrounded by his family. Artie was born February 27, 1947 in Queens, New York to the late George and Ethel Voelker. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Artie was the owner / operator over 21 years of Artie Voelker and Associates; a manufactured Aluminum Awning business in Cape Coral. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, George Voelker. Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 43 years, Barbara Voelker; their children, Brian (Emily) Voelker; David (Karen) Voelker and Jackie (Jon) Pazdera. He is also survived by his brother, Robert (Pat) Voelker, his sister-in-law, Diann Voelker and his grandchildren, Jessie, Lily and a granddaughter expected in April, 2017. Visitation will be 5pm – 7pm Friday, December 30, 2016 in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33905. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at The Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 8121 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33919.
