Arthur William Johnson Jr.'s Obituary
Arthur William Johnson Jr. of Lehigh Acres, Florida graduated to heaven and the company of his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Gulf Coast Medical Center while receiving treatment for a recent illness. He was 78 years old.
Arthur was born in Michigan on May 14, 1943, the proud son to Julie (Buecher) and Arthur William Johnson Sr. He served our country in the United States Air Force for four years and was discharged at the rank of E-3, Airman First Class. He worked in the real estate sector and was a longtime Realtor serving Southwest Florida. He was a Member of the Jaycees and the Caloosa Riders Bicycle Club and worshiped at Harbor Chapel for over 29 years.
Arthur leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife Betty Johnson; 6 children; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and his brother, Charles McRae. He also leaves behind a large extended family and a great number of others who were proud to call him a friend. Arthur will be loved and missed by everybody he knew.
A Funeral Service for Arthur will be celebrated at (Time to be Determined) inside the Sanctuary at Freedom Church, 6300 Techster Boulevard, Unit 2, Fort Myers, FL 33966. At the conclusion of this service, family and friends will travel to Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Arthur's Urn will be laid to rest inside the Masonic Garden. An Honor Guard from the United States Air Force will be present at the Cemetery and will render Military Honors in recognition of Arthur's contriburtion to the defense of our nation and will thereafter present his military service flag to his widow Betty.
