Arthur Scott Jones' Obituary
Arthur Scott Jones, 52, of Alva, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 following a brief illness. He was born October 3, 1964 in Fort Myers and has been a lifelong Florida resident. He was mechanic and currently employed by Sarlo Power Mower Company. He was also a former member of Open Bible Community Church. Mr. Jones is survived by his mother and step-father: Carol B. and Richard Phillips (“Pops”); his siblings: David Jones (Michele), Guye Jones (Patricia) and Rebecca Derrick (Richard); his step-brothers: Richard Phillips, Jr. and Michael Phillips (Debbie); his step-sisters: Lee Boisvert (Yvon) and Pam David (Fred) and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Also surviving is lifelong best friend, Kenneth Sapp (Angel) and his parents, who were like his adoptive parents, Wayne and Dee Sapp. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.
