Asa Barthalow Carmichael IV's Obituary
Asa Bathalow Carmichael IV, aged 60, a resident of Lehigh High Acres since 2021, and formerly of Utah, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 2, 2024, at his residence.
Born on January 13, 1964, in Santa Monica, California, Asa was the son of the late Asa and Roxanne Carmichael III. He dedicated much of his life to the open road as a long-time truck driver, a profession he cherished. Asa’s passion extended beyond driving; he spent countless hours training other drivers, imparting his wisdom and experience to those who followed in his tire tracks.
Asa was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand. Whether it was fixing a broken-down rig or offering a kind word, he was always there for others. But above all, Asa cherished his family. His love for them was unwavering, and he leaves behind a legacy of hard work, compassion, and devotion.
He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Brenda; six children, Kasey Rose, Logan Cambe, Larson Davis, Adam, Cara and Asa V; two siblings, Marie and Chris; six grandchildren, Evelina, Greyson, Atticus, Reagan, Dilani and Everly; one great grandson, Soren; as well as many extended family members and friends.
