AUDREY “GAIL” MENSCHING JULY 19, 2009Audrey “Gail” Mensching, 54, of Cape Coral, passed away on Sunday, July 19th, 2009. She was born in Clearwater, FL on December 4th, 1954 to Thomas and Nancy Hamrick. Gail received her Occupational Therapy degree with Honors from The University of Florida. After graduating, she moved to Lee County where she began a long career of helping hundreds of children obtain a better quality of life. Gail was a generous and loving wife, mother, and friend who was loved by many. She was a talented artist and photographer who enjoyed traveling, boating, and going to the beach with her family and friends.Gail is survived by her husband Bob, children Robbie, David and Jennifer Fugatt, Angela and Andy Harwood, grandson Drew Harwood, and brother Charles Hamrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her brothers Tom and Jim and sister Judy.A celebration of Gail’s life is planned for Friday, July 24th, 10:00 am at the home of David and Jennifer Fugatt, 34 Georgetown, Fort Myers, FL with a reception and open house to follow.
