Aurea Santiago Torres, 80 years of age, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Hope Hospice North in Cape Coral, Florida. Mrs. Torres was born in Puerto Rico on October 4, 1933, a daughter of the late Mertedes Santiago and Adelida Rivera. Mrs. Torres was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral and had resided in Cape Coral for the past 13 years coming from Hialeah, Florida. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Rosa Torres of Miami, Florida, Lillian (Robert) Kulic of Davie, Florida, William Torres of West Palm Beach, Florida and Nivia (Cira Yanes) Torres of Cape Coral, Florida. Her grandchildren, Michelle Ruiz, Danny Torres, Michael Torres and Michael Kulic; her great grandchildren, Sable Slade Rodriguez, Maya Ruiz, Veronica Torres and Mitchell Kulic; her sister, Angelica Aviles of Miami, Florida. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida 33907. The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
