Barbara Elaine Collins, 80, of North Fort Myers, died January 27, 2017 at Hospice House of Cape Coral. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday February 3, 2017 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL, 33907. Entombment will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Barbara was born August 10, 1936 in Chillicothe, OH, the daughter of Earl and Nettie Robinett. She married James L. Collins and together they owned and operated Ortiz Avenue Flea Market, for 50 years. Her work at the Flea Market and spending time with her children and grandchildren consumed her life with pride and joy. Surviving are her children, James Collins, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of N. Fort Myers, FL, Linda Forehand and her husband Rusty of N. Fort Myers, FL, Debbie Browning and her husband Randy of Ohio; sister, Audrey Arnold of Ohio; grandchildren, Lauren McHugh, Lindsey Boring; great-grandchildren, Kaley DeGroot, Madison DeGroot, Stella Berlin, Clara Berlin, Colton Boring, and Alaina Boring. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband James; two sisters; one brother and great-grandchild, Lilly Elaine Boring.
