Barbara Elaine Wood Wert Clawson's Obituary
Born in Springfield, Ohio. Barb spent her early years in Warren, Pa. where she met the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” H. Clawson.
After moving around the country, she and Chuck settled outside Cleveland, Oh., where they raised five kids in and around Chagrin Falls. Amidst raising her five kids, always the superwoman, Barb also found time for a successful career in real estate. Barb and Chuck moved to Ft. Myers Beach, Fla. in 1987, where she continued in real estate, spent years volunteering with newborn babies in the NICU and supplying her grandchildren with an endless supply of salt air and Werther’s caramels.
She leaves behind five children, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a service celebration of life April 29, 2023 at at 10 am at Memorial Gardens of Ft Myers. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Shell Point employee recovery fund.
