Barbara Louise Graham Vagle's Obituary
Barbara Louise Vagle, 87, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on August 11, 2019. The daughter of Glen O. Graham and Matilda J. Graham, she was the youngest of six siblings. Preceding her in death are her parents, her brothers, James Robert and Joseph Graham, and one of her two sisters, Hazel Graham Gaffney. Surviving sister Betty (Sid) Felder.Having been born and raised in Dekalb, Illinois, Barbara was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, happy to see them win the World Series during the 2016 season. As a long-term resident of Fort Myers, Barbara was a homemaker who went on to raise four children. Later in life, Barbara would obtain a realtor license, and would later work for and retire from the Lee County School Board. Always trying to stay active, Barbara’s later years consisted of reentry into the workforce, working several years for Dr. Greg (Kelly) Hartman.Surviving Barbara are her children, Laura (David) Deshazo of Cape Coral, Tory (Lori) Vagle of Fort Myers, Todd (Tari) Vagle of Cape Coral, and Lisa (John) Vagle-Curtis of Fort Myers. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Jennifer Deshazo, Daniel (Jamie) Deshazo, Cody Vagle, Kylee Vagle, Drew Curtis, and her two great-grandchildren, Cameron Deshazo and Taylor Williams.A private memorial will be held at a later date.
