Barbara G Groener's Obituary
Barbara G. Groener, 81, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1992, formerly of Long Island, NY passed away with her loving family by her side on Sunday, July 18, 2021 under the care of Hope Hospice. She was born December 25, 1939, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Anson and Margaret Baker.
Barbara was a homemaker. Her hobbies included Ancestry and creating beautiful picture albums for the family to enjoy looking back on memories. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her daughter Paula, and her sister Grace Baker.
Barbara is survived by her three loving children, Beverly White of Cape Coral, FL, Lisa Groener Baker of North Fort Myers, FL and Robert Groener of Wilmington, NC; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Brad, Dillon, Joe, Greg, BreAnn, Paulie and Matthew; as well as five great grandchildren, Tanner, Grayson, Bradford, Savannah and Natalie.
No formal services are planned at this time. Her family is planning a private celebration of her life. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans of Cape Coral in loving memory of Barbara G. and Paul A. Groener.
