Barbara A Hendricks' Obituary
Barbara Joan Ackley Hendricks, 85, of Punta Gorda, Florida, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2021.
She was a retired Registered Nurse, who worked tirelessly helping others. Barbara enjoyed bowling and was a member of the New Jersey Order of the Eastern Star.
She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. R.O. Ackerly of Punta Gorda, Florida, and wife of the late Edward M. Hendricks, Jr. of Punta Gorda, Florida. She is survived by her sister, Joy A. Lamb of Honolulu, Hawaii; her son Mark E. Hendricks of Charleston, South Carolina; Her daughter Debra L. Kern of Punta Gorda, Florida; her grandchildren Danielle Gonzales, John Coons, Robert Coons, Kassidy Garcia, and Qira Hendricks; her great- grandchildren Brianna Coons, Zachary Coons, Jayden Rickard-Hendricks, Cinyah Heyleger, and Darryl, Heyleger, Jr.
A Private Memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
