Barbara Harris Kite's Obituary
Barbara Harris Kite, age 86, of Fort Myers, passed away March 12, 2015. She was born February 6, 1929 in Winter Park. She grew up in Fort Myers and attended Fort Myers High School and graduated from Florida State University. She enjoyed life by giving to her family and the community. She was an active member of the Pilot Club and a major contributor to the Pilot Scholarship House located on the FGCU campus. Barbara was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her sister, Francis Gresham, her sons and Daughters in-law David Arthur and Ann Kite, William Crockett and Ronda Kite and Lee Devlin and Debbie Kite, Grandchildren: Amy Kite, Lori Kite, Grace Kite, Joy Kite, David Kite, Marissa Kite, Bob Kite, Steven Kite and Chrissy Kite, along with 9 great grandchildren. Memorial Service is at 10:00 am on March 21, 2015 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery at 1589 Colonial Blvd. 239.936.0555
