She worked diligently to protect children from abuse, domestic violence and broken homes. She was highly respected by the courts and loved by the children she fought so hard to protect. Our hearts are broken but may we find peace in the fact that she is back in the arms of her loving husband who she missed so much. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to aid in the development of the De LaSalle Academy Library in memory of Barbara and Bob Stephens. Barbara was a voracious reader who believed that every child should experience the joy of reading. Donations can be sent to: De LaSalle Academy 6401 Techster Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33966.
